5th Session of CRANE’s Board of Directors held

On Tuesday, October 13, this year’s 5^th session of CRANE’s Board of Directors was held, attended by Davorin Štetner, President, and Hrvoje Prpić, Damir Mujić and Mihovil Barančić, members of CRANE’s Board of Directors.

The main point was initiating certification of business angels, which will be discussed more in the near future. At the session, there was a short review of the recent conference SmartINNO and PacINNO, held in Greece, attended by Davorin Štetner, Damir Mujić and Hrvoje Prpić as the representatives of CRANE.

In September 2015, CRANE officially became the representative of Croatia in the Global Business Angels Network, so one of the topics was the possibility of organizing notable conferences in Croatia. Organization of one such conference would bring more than 700 business angels to Croatia, which would make us more prominent in Europe and give domestic start-ups an opportunity to present their business ideas in front of many foreign investors.

One point of discussion at the session was CRANE joining Zagreb Connect, as well as the possibilities of further cooperation with the City of Zagreb, different opportunities for the cooperation with incubators and accelerators in Croatia, and a schedule for Startup Wednesdays was prepared for the rest of the year. Soon we are also expecting to organize a Showcase, where start-ups will be able to present their ideas to the members of CRANE.
