A packed auditorium on Startup Wednesday with Sandro Mur

On Wednesday, October 28, organized by the Croatian Business Angels Network (CRANE) and Zagreb Entrepreneurship Incubator, another Startup Wednesday was held, with Sandro Mur, cofounder of Bellabeat, as a guest lecturer. There was a great interest for this lecture from the very beginning, and all the seats were reserved already on the third day after the event opening.

Startup Wednesday was opened by Davorin Štetner, President of CRANE, who announced CRANE’s plans for organizing future Startup Wednesdays and briefly presented Sandro, who didn’t waste time and immediately started off with concrete advice.

pitanjaThis Startup Wednesday was a sort of reality check for all the gathered participants. Apart from the many examples from his own experience that Sandro gained on his business trips to London, Berlin and the Silicon Valley, he pointed out, without restraint and completely honestly, the biggest shortcomings he noticed in many entrepreneurs, but also in the investors he had come across in his work.

Honesty and openness were very well accepted by the audience, and the lecture was immediately followed by many questions that Sandro tirelessly answered. At one point, he asked the live stream to be turned off and the recording stopped in order to answer all the questions completely honestly.

After the lecture there was an informal gathering with free pizza where the participants of the Startup Wednesday could have acquired new contacts and exchanged experiences.
