Blockchain and cryptocurrencies attracted the interest of more than 200 people

More than 200 people gathered in the Technological Park at the Zagreb Fair on another Startup Wednesday which was held on September 20th and organized by the Croatian Business Angels Network (CRANE) and Uber. The topic of blockchain and cryptocurrencies is becoming increasingly popular, so the iOS and Solidity developer – Mislav Javor, discussed it on this Startup Wednesday.

The lecture provided details about the blockchain itself, about Bitcoin (BTC) as a possible future form of payment and about smart contracts – as probably the most important area that will be changed by blockchain.

As one could hear at the lectures, there are currently over 800 cryptocurrencies being traded at dozens of exchange offices and servers worldwide. Each cryptocurrency has its own specifics, but Mislav had a neutral response when asked which of these cryptocurrencies will overpower the rest.

The entire blockchain infrastructure will bring significant savings in money and time in virtually all areas of human activity, but to know in what ways – see the video below.

See you at the next Startup Wednesday!
