CRANE as a special guest of the New York angels in New York

Yesterday, representatives of CRANE, Davorin Štetner, President, and Damir Mujić, Board member, were guests at the pitch of one of the world’s strongest business angels organizations – New York Angels, held at the New York Times building in New York. They listened to eight pitches and participated in several conversations with the New York start-up investors. An especially important meeting was with the president of the New York Angels – Brian Cohen, who presented the work of the association that has invested over 95 million dollars in the American and NYworld start-ups. He also gave them an insight into the American system of certification of business angels, which is extremely important for identifying good angels. A mutual cooperation was also arranged and it will be defined in the next period.

”I am glad that we have arranged a certain cooperation with this strong organization. However, talking with these investors, we have realized that they no longer want to invest in European companies, but exclusively in the companies and founders that come to New York and the USA. The reason for that is the European bureaucracy, the cause of many headaches. The good thing is that now we have a direct link and they are interested in the presentations of start-ups in which our members have already invested.”  – said Davorin Štetner, President of CRANE.
