EBAN’s Strategic Meeting held in Cambridge

The European Network of Business Angels – EBAN, whose member is CRANE, held the first strategic meeting of the new leadership at the British Cambridge. Two-day events were dominated by the theme of future investment and the development direction of EBAN, which is the world’s largest organization of this kind. EBAN President Peter Cowley, who is also the president of the Cambridge Angels Organization, emphasized the vision of focusing on cross-border investments and cooperation among member organizations.

Davorin Štetner, President of CRANE, and EBAN’s Board member pledged for better visibility of successful start-ups from Central and Eastern Europe, which have a problem with early-stage financing. VC funds do not perform their roles well enough, they are dealing solely with themselves and spending on management, and the ecosystem has major problems with the third round of investment.
