Another in the series of CRANE Brunches—events that bring together entrepreneurs, investors, and representatives of public administration—was held at the beautiful Lički Sokol estate in Gračac. The gathering was opened by host Krešimir Budiša, President of the Croatian Business Angels Network and Investors (CRANE) Davorin Štetner, Deputy Prefect of Zadar County Vice Šimunović, and the envoy of the Minister of Tourism and Sports, Igor Radić.
The event brought together around forty entrepreneurs and investors. The official program featured several panel discussions, presentations, and startup pitches.
The first panel, titled “Can We Talk About a Boom in Investment and Tourism in Lika?”, was moderated by host Krešimir Budiša, who is also a CRANE member. Panelists included Igor Radić, advisor to the Minister of Tourism and Sports; Vice Šimunović, Deputy Prefect of Zadar County; Ivana Maras, expert in sustainable use of the Velebit Nature Park; and Mihaela Kadija, Director of the Zadar County Tourist Board.
The second panel, “What More Do We Need to Become a Top Investment Destination?”, was moderated by Mislav Bradvica, partner at the law firm BMWC specializing in investment projects. The panel featured Dutch serial entrepreneur Jan De Jong, who moved to Croatia 17 years ago, and Davorin Štetner, who spoke about the major investment project Croatia Ring, a racing track under development. He also shared insights from leading large-scale projects in Croatia, including one that was recently added to the List of Strategic Investment Projects of the Republic of Croatia.
