Crypto Startup Wednesday at the Congress Hall of the Faculty of Economics Zagreb

The Croatian Business Angels Network (CRANE) yesterday organized Startup Wednesday with the theme of crypto mining. Krešimir Radoš, crypto and blockchain enthusiast, gave a lecture “Mining as a source of earnings” at the Congress Hall of the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb, in front of more than 130 people.

Computers around the globe maintain a crypto currency network, more precisely, crypto currency miners. The miners’ job is to confirm and record the transactions in the “ledger” main book, and as a reward, the miner receives a certain amount of the crypto currency. The mining of crypto currency makes their technological infrastructure decentralized, transparent and justified.

Krešimir explained to us in detail what crypto mining is, and one of the definitions describes this term as solving serious mathematical problems under predefined conditions. The term “crypto mining” is an allegory of gold mining.

On yesterday’s Startup Wednesday we had a chance to hear why to mine and how to become a crypto miner. “The first steps you should take if you want to dig up crypto currency are: procure hardware and software, find the right space, have a high-quality ventilation system and high power connector, internet connectivity and high-quality stacking shelves,” explained Krešimir Radoš.
