President of CRANE with European Commissioner Bieńkowska

A working breakfast was held on Tuesday, October 13, at the Regent Esplanade hotel, with Mrs Elżbieta Bieńkowska, European Commissioner for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs, who visited Zagreb to hold a meeting with the senior officials of the Government of the Republic of Croatia and attended HBOR’s (Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development) 14^th international conference on export promotion.

The working breakfast gathered selected entrepreneurs, investors and representatives of the relevant institutions with the goal of familiarizing the European commission with all the obstacles and challenges of operating in the internal market of the European Union and to make recommendations to the commissioner Bieńkowska for improvements in that segment.

The participants of the working breakfast were Davorin Štetner, President of the Croatian Business Angels Network (CRANE), Mirela Alpeza, Director of CEPOR, Želimir Kramarić, Vice President of the Croatian Chamber of Economy, Davor Majetić, General Director  of the Croatian Employers’ Association, Damir Sabol representing Zagreb Entrepreneurship Incubator, Agnieszka Drzewoska, member of commissioner Bieńkowska’s cabinet, Branko Baričević, Head of the European Commission Representation in Croatia, and Mirella Rašić, Head of the Political Reporting and Analytics Department.
