Saša Cvetojević, a well-known Croatian entrepreneur, investor and a member of CRANE’s Board of Directors, has become the new host of the show Pressing on N1 television. The first episode with Saša as the host starts October 1.
Pressing is a hard talk interview with the most significant political and public figures, and it airs on N1 television from Monday to Thursday at 20.00. Pressing is aired from the N1 studios in Zagreb, Sarajevo and Beograd, so we will have the chance to watch Saša once a week. As a current interactive regional political talk show, Pressing follows current topics with the most attractive guests.
So far, Saša Cvetojević has been a columnist for Tportal and Index.hr, has kept a blog on business and entrepreneurship, and at Grand Prix in 2014 he won the “Communicator of the year” award, elected by the Croatian Public Relations Association.
He’s a frequent speaker at many conferences and often participates as a host and moderator of many round tables and similar events.
Although this is his first experience in TV journalism, he is not afraid of challenges and, according to him: “it’s good to have people do a job they have never done before.”
As a long-time member of CRANE and an entrepreneur with vast experience, Saša will give the viewers a chance to watch the show from an entrepreneurial perspective and understand everyday problems in the work of entrepreneurs. We believe that this approach will bring entrepreneurship closer to the general public and motivate individuals to get more involved in entrepreneurship and investments.
What encouraged you to accept the job as the host of the show Pressing?
“I made up my mind after a call from Tihomir Ladišić, whom I respect very much as a journalist and a host.”
In your opinion, what is the importance of this kind of show?
“Pressing is a show on a television that is completely independent and where I will have the complete freedom to choose the guests and topics. Therefore, I will be able to ask questions and introduce topics which I think should be on the air.”
Can you, at this point, say what the viewers can expect with you as the host?
“Many have already noticed my way of writing, be it on social networks, portals or in print. I think that it is necessary to express views on everyday problems of citizens and entrepreneurs far more clearly.
Expect conversations with some familiar faces, but also appearances of some people who you haven’t had the chance to see often on TV.
Additionally, the show itself, although it is live, is not all. I expect a lot of overviews after it, through social networks and portals, which will prompt additional comments and help draw the public’s attention more easily and frequently to the topics that I want to talk about.”
