Second session of the Council for Economic Affairs held

The second session of the Council for Economic Affairs was held on Tuesday, July 14 2015, in the office of the President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović. The discussed topic was the problem of the citizens and subjects indebted in Swiss francs.

At the session, representatives of Association Franc presented the issue under discussion to the members of the Council. The Council then confirmed the subjects, operation and dynamics of its work for the period up to the end of the year, when the first recommendations of the Council are expected to be presented to the President of the Republic.

Davorin Štetner, president of the Croatian business angels network, also participated in the second session of the Council for Economic Affairs.

“This was the first working session and we have adopted a basic work plan. The plan is rather active and we have determined that the sessions will be held every three weeks. CRANE has already proposed 8 points of improvement of investment and entrepreneurial climate and we are emphasizing the need to change the overly-bureaucratic system. We think that the necessary steps may even be the simplest ones, for the small and medium-sized entrepreneurs to overcome the unnecessary and often unclear business rules.” – said Davorin Štetner, president of CRANE.
