In early 2016, Croatian Network of Business Angels (CRANE) was officially awarded the hosting of EBAN Winter University 2016 conference, by which Croatia has become the prime destination for numerous business angels and investors. After Copenhagen and Helsinki, this year’s edition of the conference, organized by CRANE and City of Zagreb, in the concert hall Vatroslav Lisinski, will take place on 29^th and 30^th November. Over 1700 participants, including 400 business angels and investors, and 100 start ups and hundreds of students from the entire Europe.

The active support and sponsorship of the Croatian President, Mrs. Kolinda Grabar – Kitarović, and the Mayor of Zagreb, Mr. Milan Bandić, add special importance to this conference.

EBAN Winter University 2016 will gather the most eminent business angels, entrepreneurs and opinion makers, and will put a big emphasis on networking and business making with some of the greatest experts in the industry. A two day programme of the conference includes panels, lectures and speeches of the greatest experts in the field of entrepreneurship and investment, who will explain the latest trends in the startup industry. Part of the program will also be startup competition Zagreb Connect which will provide the opportunity for the best teams to present their ideas during the conference and win prizes from the €50.000 fund.
