On Tuesday, December 1, presentations of the 8th generation of the Zagreb Entrepreneurship Incubator (ZIP) were held in front of CRANE members. For most teams this was the first appearance in front of potential investors and business partners and a great opportunity to improve their pitch and gather useful advice. At the project presentation, representing CRANE, were Davorin Štetner (President), Saša Cvetojević, Mihovil Barančić, Hrvoje Prpić (members of the Board of Directors), Alan Sumina and Dennis Rukavina. Each team had 3 minutes for their pitch and 10 minutes for questions and comments.
6 teams that have been attending ZIP’s program for the last 3 months presented their projects to the business angels. The teams presenting their ideas were Adopto, a platform for the employment of candidates from the technological world, Ballistics, a cloud service for advanced analysis of handball statistics, My Adventure, an application for all adventure activities in Croatia, Sail Routers, an applications that helps boat owners to reduce fuel consumption and Wemy, a mobile application that helps raise your personal style on the next level.
Members of CRANE helped the teams improve their pitch and presentations, and through various questions and comments they suggested how to improve their business model and strategy. Most questions were directed towards the strategy of monetizing, the benefits of service in front of the competition, the price the users are ready to pay for the service, the customer acquisition cost and the characteristics of the targeted market.
