Startup Wednesday – Dean Vranić and Damir Ciglar, founders of Vitastiq

Find out everything about the new Croatian start-up that changed the way we care for our health

The Croatian Business Angels Network, in cooperation with VERN University, invites you to Startup Wednesday with the founders of Vitastiq, Dean Vranić and Damir Ciglar, which will be held on November 25, 2015 at 17 o’clock, at VERN University, Importanne Gallerija, II floor, auditorium n° 200, Zagreb.

Vitastiq is the first personal device in the world used to check vitamin and mineral levels in the body by electro-acupuncture method. The check is done within several minutes by pressing the electrode gently on certain points on the body.

”Those are acupuncture points where you can read every imbalance in the body, if such exists. The device is innovative because we have made it, compared to the traditional EAV devices (EAV – electroacupuncture by Dr Voll), significantly smaller and easier to use, and have connected it to smartphones.” said the founder of Vitastiq, Dean Vranić.

In the beginning of 2015, the team behind the Vitastiq start-up started the Indiegogo campaign in order to gather 49 thousand dollars, but they didn’t even imagine that their donations will be much higher than they had sought. Through the campaign, Vitastiq gathered 210,238 US dollars which is more than impressive for a Croatian start-up, and behind the extraordinary results is a long process of planning, work and effort.

Already in the end of 2015 Vitastiq marks another success. In the finale of this year’s Central European Startup Awards in Vienna, Vitastiq was among the candidates for the best start-ups and most influential people in entrepreneurship in the middle Europe, and a jury of experts awarded them in the category of the best user experience.

Don’t miss this chance, find out first-hand how Vitastiq came to be recognized as the best user experience and led an impressive crowd funding campaign.
