Second session of the Council for Economic Affairs held

On Wednesday, August 26 2015, second working session of the Council for Economic Affairs was held in the office of the President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović. At the session, the governor of the Croatian National Bank, Mr Boris Vujčić, presented a review of the issues of the citizens indebted in Swiss francs, and the effects of enforcing the announced model for resolving the debts. Special emphasis was put on the expected effects on the budget revenues and foreign exchange reserves.

The Council adopted the suggestion of the dynamics and schedule of processing the identified key economic topics and accepted the suggestions of the working groups on the identified topics, as well as the way and timetable of their processing. It was decided that the Council will hold its regular working sessions every three weeks, while the irregular and thematic sessions will be organized at a more dynamically intensive pace, within the accepted working groups, in order to make recommendations more efficiently and promptly.
