On Tuesday, June 7, this year’s second session of the Board of Directors was held, discussing primarily the organization of the EBAN Winter University 2016 conference. A press conference is planned for mid-June, in cooperation with the City of Zagreb, where some interesting news about the conference will be announced.

Davorin Štetner, President of CRANE looked back on a recent visit to the EBAN Porto 2016 congress, which had an important role in networking and in starting a macro regional organization of business angels. Members of CRANE have further developed their relations with the representatives of Hungarian business angels, and in order to continue with the cooperation arrangements, a working lunch is already planned for the end of June. Business angels of Montenegro, Slovenia, Austria, Hungary, Bulgaria and Greece have joined the initiative for starting a macro regional organization of business angels in Porto. Signing a partnership agreement with the Croatian Chamber of Economy was announced at the session of the Board. CRANE and the CCE have been cooperating for a while now, and the partnership agreement opens up opportunities for an even stronger cooperation. One of the topics at the session was also the cooperation with the City of Šibenik in order to further encourage the development of the start-up scene in Šibenik.
