Ultijack in the finale of the „Moj ZABA Start“ contest

According to the evaluation of the expert commission, among the ten best startups at „Moj Zaba Start“ contest called “Entrepreneurship” is the Croatian startup Ultijack – a multipurpose jacket that has a built-in battery charger, a headphone holder, multifunctional compartments and many other innovative details.

The prize money for the first place is 120,000 HRK, then 100,000 HRK for the second place, 80,000 HRK for the third place, and finally, 30,000 HRK for the fourth place – whose winner will be selected by public voting at www.mojzabastart.hr. The winners will be announced at the official award ceremony on October 26th.
Ultijack is a multifunctional modular jacket with built-in NFC technology designed in a way to give its owners a new form of interaction through their everyday gadgets (smartphones, laptops, tablets) or it can simply be turned into a pillow. The jacket is made from high-quality, water and windproof materials. It includes a mobile phone charger, headphones holder, a phone pocket, a wallet, glass cleaning cloth, see-through smartphone sleeve pocket and a “waist bag” sewn into the jacket. Through various competitions, My Zaba Start tender for grants supports the most innovative and market-based ideas that positively impact both the economy and society. The tender is carried out through three new competitions: Entrepreneurship, Culture, and Science and Society. This year, the Entrepreneurship Contest announced 264 projects in the fields of innovation, technology, health, ecology, tourism, horticulture, education, children and youth development as well as many other areas.
The “Moj Zaba Start” project was launched in 2013 and has already supported 29 best sustainable projects from different areas based on expert commission evaluation and public voting. The winners are innovative startups, socially responsible initiatives and projects in the fields of green entrepreneurship, creative industries or developing applications and IT solutions.
